Sailing Video and Our Next Journey

Hi Everyone!

We wanted to give you a few quick updates on the sailboat and our next trip.

First, the sailboat (Just Ducky) made it safely across the Pacific. She arrived on August 29th into Long Beach, California (San Diego had some construction ongoing and it was much more expensive). In total from Vietnam, she sailed 9500 nautical miles over 62 days. Congratulations to the crew!

Second, our son, Shane made a compilation video of the video clips we took on the trip. (Shane is an aspiring video editor in case anyone wants to hire him for video editing!) Finally, we're on our next journey. We are heading to Ireland for 11 days in September to do some sightseeing. Both of us have been there before separately, but never together. We will also be meeting some good friends of ours from South Carolina for most of the stay. We will most likely not be making any posts while we are there as we are leaving the computers home, but we will make a post-trip report when we get back in case you are interested in Ireland.
